Trapeze artist Enya White has been with the show since it debuted. "I really love Luzia because it's colorful, the music is amazing, all the costumes are incredible, all the acts are really different from each other."

After seeing "Luzia" by Cirque du Soleil, twice, my daugther finally met her hero from the show...a "ballerina in the sky" named Enya White, from Quebec. The gesture by the star circus performer won a fan for a lifetime.

The water adds so much to my performance. I never thought about performing Trapeze in the rain, but it is so unique. You can feel the magic it creates for the audience.

Enya’s strength is apparent as she easily transitions into visually stunning maneuvers. Halfway through their performance, the rain begins to fall, adding a very dangerous element to the finish of her act.

Then came Enya White on the trapeze. Enya’s performance on this aerial apparatus was marvellous as she spun, swung, and flew seamlessly threw the air of the big top. A torrential downpour falls from the ceiling during Enya’s performance and she cascades through the sheet of water, spinning like a tornado in its midst.

Learning to work with water has also been rewarding. "When I'm doing my tricks and the water comes in the show, it's really a magical moment for the audience and also for us," says White. "It's like a relief."

It’s the artist’s first show with Cirque. White, originally from Montreal, was enrolled at a circus school a few years ago when she was invited by the company to join its newest production. “I thought it was a really nice concept and it looked really fun, so I decided to join the adventure,” she said.
